During the years 1975-1979, former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein delivered a series of speeches to the Central Media Committee of the Baath Party and to the Educational Curricula Committee, during which he expressed his viewpoint and the party’s position on history. He repeatedly emphasized that Arab history should be written according to the approach and vision of the Baath Party and employed to achieve its goals. The lecture focused on the most important milestones of his articles and analyzed his unscientific position on history and his call to harness his personal ambitions.
