Objectives or Summary:
Abortion , defined ,the 3xpulsion of a fetus from the uterus before it has reached the stage of viability" in human beings, usually about the 20th week of gestation" An abortion may occure spotaneoualy, in which case it is also called a miscarriage , or it may be brought on purposefully, in which case it is often called an induced abortion. Spontaneous abortion , or miscarriage , occure for many reasons, including disease, trauma, genitic defect, or biochemical incompatibility of mother and fetus. Indused abortion may be performed for reasons that fall into four general categories: to preserve the life or physical or mental well-being of the mother, to prevent the completion of a pregnancy that resulted from rape or incest ; to prevent the birth of a child with serious deformity, mental deficiency, or genetic abnormality; or to prevent a birth for social or economical reseasons. By some definitions, abortions that are performed to preserve the well- being of the female or in case of rape or incest are theraputic, or justifiable, abortions. In China for exampke , in the early of 21st century China used abortion legal on a large scale as oart of its population control policy.
Abortion as a process availibility and accessebility is vary from state to another and from community to another according to the legislations and laws which based on socio-cultural values and norms in one side and on religion in the other sides. Abortion is a common procedures and critical component of reproductive health care, abortion access and service availibility are not uniform with inor across countries. In KRG and Iraq the state abortion lawa and regulation may have a negative impacts on women rights to optain medical health care services in relation to social problemes. Whether and to what extent induced abortions should be permitted, encouraged, or severely repressed is a social issue that has divided theologians, philosophers, and legislators for centuries. Abortion was apparently a common and socially accepted method of family limitation in the Greco- Roman world . Although Christian theologians early and vehemently condemned abortion, the application of severe criminal sanctions to deter its practice became common only in the 19th century .in 20th century such sanctions were modified in one way or another in various countries. In the Middle East countries abortion is illegal...and have many sanctions even if the pregnancy is a result of rape ...and in these cases if they didn't become victimes of honor killing crimes ..they chose unsaved procedured of abortion ...and they face various consequences in relation to healthcare..just for releasi g fuom social stegma. ..this mean that even the woman has the right to access a safe abortion ...but she can't access health care services in abortion which is a part of productive health if the pregnancy state has no relation with medical and health problems..for example, saving mothers life.
