The Department of History at the College of Education, Wasit University, in collaboration with the Department of History at the College of Humanities, University of Duhok, will hold its Second Scientific Conference in a hybrid format (in-person and online). The conference will take place on Wednesday and Thursday, May 11-12, 2022, hosted at the University of Duhok.

Conference Objectives:

1. To highlight the mutual influence between nations throughout history.
2. To re-examine historical events using critical and analytical methodologies.
3. To strive towards strengthening contemporary national unity and reducing regional, intellectual, and sectarian fragmentation.
4. To stimulate intellectual discourse to achieve the best outcomes.
